Waterspout in Singapore waters

Up until today, I have only seen waterspouts in photos. I took these photos of a pretty big waterspout forming in Singapore waters. Have a look.





This is shot of the waterspout and the Singapore Flyer.



This is another pic of the waterspout. Noticed that is it very a near a tanker. It looks as if it almost engulfed the tanker.




The waterspout lasted only a few minutes. Here is the waterspout starting to disintegrate above Tanjung Rhu condominium.




I think Singapore should have more waterspouts. It brings company colleagues together. Just like the other time with the earthquake!

Barney shoes

Recently, I have been watching a lot of Barney VCDs. Don't ask why. I noticed something and I like to post it here.

Why do BJ and Baby Bop wear shoes and Barney doesn't?

For your information, BJ wears a pair of red sneakers and Baby Bop wears a pair of ballerina shoes. What messages are the creators of Barney sending here?

Cannot charge Dragonfly

After flying the dragonfly yesterday morning, I tried charging it when I got back. But the charging did not work! Does it mean the end of the road for my dragonfly days? So fast!

No more flying for a while until I figure out what is wrong.

I took these pictures of my Wowwee Dragonfly.


Here is another picture which shows the mechanical insect in flight.



I will try to post a video of the insect in action next week.

I noticed a small crack in one of the parts holding up the wings. I guess the frequent crashes does help! But I have managed to keep it in the air for longer periods now!

Wowwee Dragonfly

I bought the Wowwee Dragonfly and it is good fun. I am getting the hang of flying it. Unfortunately, the charging cable does work anymore so I have to use my Pizoo helicopter charger for the dragonfly. It works just the same! I will post some videos of the dragonfly in action.
